June 5th, 1999 - The Chain of Rocks
Bridge was officially opened to pedestrian traffic as part of the
Trailnet Bike Trail. It is open to bike riders, walkers,
joggers, and rollerbladers and is part of a 40 mile network of trails
and bikeways in metropolitan St. Louis Illinois and Missouri. |

The Route 66 Territory Visitors Bureau operated its pioneering Route 66
Visitors Center & Museum in Rancho Cucamonga from 1991-97. After a
four year search in late 2001 the Bureau reopened as a gift shop inside
Cash Plus in the La Verne Towne Center on Route 66.
